The Strand Stories project began in 2020, with the aim of recording, cherishing and promoting the social and architectural heritage of the Strand Arts Centre.

This website brings together photographs, films, essays, and education resources to aid a new understanding of the remarkable history of the Strand. Significantly, the website also showcases some of the stories collected during the project, which help to bring the history of the iconic venue to life highlight the social significance of the Strand.
