Strand Stories
This animated film draws upon the research, audio stories, archive images and footage collected throughout the Strand Stories project. The short film was edited and animated by a Hola Lola Animations, a local animation studio headed by Joel Simon.
The film premiered on screen at the Strand Arts Centre in October 2022.

Stories that Shaped the Strand
Filmed in March 2021, during a Covid-19 lockdown, when the usually vibrant building was eerily quiet. The empty space is reanimated by the memories and stories collected in the ‘Strand Stories’ project. These voices guide us around the various spaces within and around the building, and help to chart the incredible history of the Strand. The film premiered online in March 2021, as part of the Imagine Festival.
